Far Away, Kandahar

After surviving three wars and eleven years spent in conflicts in Croatia, Africa and Afghanistan, the father of a large family is left with only one - PTSD. Besides, today he’s finally home, he is for the first time exposed to the experiences of his wife and grown-up children who spent years fearing the worst. Combining letters and emails, archive materials and journal excerpts with newly shot material, the director and the oldest daughter focuses on delicate points.
