21st ZagrebDox officially opens

Over the next week, the audience at Kaptol Boutique Cinema will be treated to 107 documentary films, selected among as many as 1,500 submitted entries and cherry-picked according to the same key – to present the best of the best from recent world documentary production. Twenty films are competing for the official festival award, the Big Stamp, in the international documentary category and 18 in the regional competition, and as always, a series of special film events, lectures and Q&As with filmmakers await us.

New Factumentaries, what is troubling teenagers, is there any salvation for our planet and who are this year's jury members?

In almost thirty years of its existence, the most important Croatian independent documentary production company Factum has produced over 90 documentaries, screened at around a hundred festivals and winning a series of international awards. As part of the Factumentaries section, three documentaries produced by Factum will be screened at ZagrebDox.
