ZagrebDox's Digital Outfit

Sustainability is one of the words that has become very common in recent decades for a very simple reason: because they are extremely important. Greening ZagrebDox has been a process that has been going on for some time, but this year these steps forward are certainly more visible. 

First of all, we have reduced the circulation of our program booklets and have relied more and more on our website. The calendar icon besides the link to purchase tickets saves the selected film directly to your calendars on smartphones and computers. Planning a visit to ZagrebDox has never been easier! Of course, for all paper lovers: don't worry, there will be booklets, we just won't be handing them out to exhaustion!

Another novelty is that starting this year, voting for the audience award will be done via smartphones. It will be enough to scan the QR code in the cinema and rate the watched movie. One IP address is one vote - but we believe that our audience knows what fair play is and that it will be fair and just. Of course, one can always expect a higher number of votes than the number of tickets sold, but... that will only harm the film because it faces disqualification.

Starting this year, we are also breaking the tradition of street postering - we used digital billboards around the city for advertisements! And some of our flags will fly again!

ZagrebDox has always been a sustainable festival in terms of programming and organization, it's time for it to become even more sustainable in terms of implementation!

And finally: we'll soon be announcing two major digital innovations. The first is that we've included audio documentaries in the official program, which will be available to listen to via our website during the festival, and the second is that after ZagrebDox ends in cinemas, ZagrebDox will start on the Loli.stream platform!
