ZagrebDox Pro 2026: open call for applications to the Slow Pitch training program
12.1.2026.
ZagrebDox Pro invites directors, screenwriters, cinematographers and producers of documentary films to apply for the niche training program Slow Pitch, which will be held from April 20 to 25, 2026.
ZagrebDox Pro is a five-day program that combines analysis of submitted projects, recommendations and suggestions for their further development. The program includes case studies, group and individual discussions with industry experts, master classes, special film screenings and round tables. Slow Pitch will provide participants with the opportunity to present their projects to a different mentor each day, and the meetings will take place at various locations in Zagreb. The program's uniqueness lies in the personal approach that allows participants to develop their projects in focused discussions with mentors.
Lecturers, experts and guests of the ZagrebDox Pro program are some of the most important European authors, producers and exhibitors. The best project, by the jury's decision, will be provided with one-year online mentoring, while two projects, also by the jury's decision, will be given the opportunity to participate in the residential module of ZagrebDox Pro, in cooperation with the Rab Film Festival in August 2026.
ZagrebDox Pro strives to create an opportunity and help participants:
- through a concentrated, dedicated analysis of projects submitted to this workshop, in collaboration with experienced professionals.
- in choosing project presentation/pitching tools suitable for the project itself, but also for the author team representing the project
- through Masterclass lectures and panels
- in networking
- in designing a promotional project as an important part of its distribution success
