Nathaniel Lezra
Nathaniel Lezra is a Spanish-American filmmaker who has directed and produced award winning work in the longform documentary, narrative, and commercial spaces. In 2023, he directed Don't Leave Me Behind: Stories of Young Ukrainian Survival for Paramount, a documentary about the experiences of teenage Ukrainian refugees fleeing combat. In 2024, he completed his follow up film titled Roads of Fire, which examines the migration crisis in the western hemisphere and won Best Feature Documentary at the 40th Santa Barbara International Film Festival. His creative focus is on telling humanist stories that illuminate extreme experiences outside the conventions of contemporary culture.
