Anja Koprivšek
Anja Koprivšek is a director and producer. She completed her undergraduate studies in international politics at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, and then earned a master’s degree in documentary filmmaking at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She is the director and co-producer of the documentary series Lines of Sight (2025), which portrays figures from Croatian documentary filmmaking from a personal perspective. She is the author of the documentary films Grand Prize (2024) and Between Summers (2021), which have been screened at festivals such as ZagrebDox, Doclisboa, Beldocs, Liburnia Film Festival, Pula Film Festival, STIFF, Verzió Film Festival, and SEEfest in Los Angeles. For her work, she has received multiple awards, including the Jelena Rajković Award for Best Young Author (2022) at the Days of Croatian Film, the Best Director Award at the Bistre Reke Festival (2022), as well as numerous special mentions for the film Grand Prize. Anja is a co-founder and mentor of the Flame.In documentary lab and is continuously active in the fields of directing and production.
