Mohammadreza Farzad
Mohammadreza Farzad participated in the Berlinale Forum Expanded section with his films three times (Into Thin Air, Blames and Flames, Subtotals). He was selected and screened at more than seventy prestigious film festivals and events across the world (Berlinale, IDFA, CPH:DOX, Sheffield, Oberhausen, Clermont Ferrand, Melbourne, Dokufest, Thessaloniki, Walker Art Centre). Farzad acted as Jury member at several film festivals (CPH:DOX, Jihlava, Plzen, Dokubaku, Melgaco, Cinema-Veite) and won numerous awards (Jury Special Mention at Lab & Tenk prize for the best documentary section of Clermont-Ferrand, Golden Apricot Stone at GAIF). He was a curator of Docutheque Nonfiction Films screenings and has an associate degree in Architecture (Kashan University of Arts, Iran) and BA & MA degrees in Dramatic Literature (Soureh and Tehran University of Arts, Iran).
