Boris Miljković
Boris Miljković studied Film Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade. With Branimir Dimitrijević, he formed the duo Boris & Tucko, co-creating and directing notable 1980s TV shows and films such as Niko kao ja, Rokenroler, Ruski umetnički eksperiment, and Šumanović – Komedija umetnika. His video work was featured at MoMA and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston in 1989. In the 1990s, he worked in advertising as creative director for Saatchi & Saatchi Cairo and McCann Erickson Belgrade. He created video impressions for Silence of the Balkans (1997) and later produced hundreds of commercials, music videos, and theater trailers. He is also a writer published by Geopoetika, winning awards including the Clio Award, MTV Award, and Isidora Sekulić Award. His novel The Yugoslavs was shortlisted for the NIN Award in 2021. He directed theater productions such as Nevjesta od vjetra (2003) and The Soldier’s Tale (2005), contributed to Eurovision 2008, co-founded the MTS Vision Festival, and served as creative director at Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).
