Born in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1972. Lejla Dedić lived, studied and worked in London for 20 years. In 1997 she graduated in Media and Society at South Bank University in London. She has over 20 years of experience working in the media sector: production, post-production and broadcasting. She worked in BBC World Service Trust/Media Action that uses media and communications to help reduce poverty and promote human rights in developing countries. Since 2011, Lejla has been given a role of Producer at Al Jazeera Balkans.
Mirjam Wiekenkamp has been working as a publicist in the film industry since 2008. She is one of the founders of NOISE Film PR, and handles the release of feature and documentary films at international festivals such as Berlinale, CPH:DOX, Cannes, IDFA, IFFR, Locarno and Venice. Some of the documentaries she has recently been working with include The Last Shelter (Ousmane Samassékou, CPH:DOX 2021), Zinder (Aïcha Macky, Visions du Réel 2021), As I Want (Samahar Alqadi, Berlinale Encounters 2021), Landscapes of Resistance(Marta Popivoda, IFFR Tiger Competition 2021), Nothing But the Sun(Arami Ullón, opening film IDFA 2020), The New Gospel (Milo Rau, Venice 2020), The Letter (Maia Lekow & Chris King, Kenya's Oscar submission for 2021), Earth (Nikolaus Geyrhalter, Berlinale 2019), Shooting the Mafia(Kim Longinotto, Berlinale 2019) and Talking About Trees (Suhaib Gasmelbari, winner Glasshütte Original Documentary Award & Panorama Audience Award Berlinale 2019).
Boris Jokić, born in 1976 in Zagreb, graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and earned his Master’s and PhD in educational sciences from Cambridge University, UK. He has worked on more than 20 scientific projects, the latest of which is “Educational aspirations of pupils at transitional periods of Croatian elementary education: nature, determinants and change (COBRAS)” of the Croatian Science Foundation. He is the author and co-author of ten books on education and has written a series of scientific papers. He was a member of the National Council for Education and one of the authors of the Strategy on Education, Science and Technology. He was the Head and one of the people credited with conceiving the Comprehensive curricular reform of early, preschool, primary and secondary school education. The ideas, processes and values of the reform spurred massive support rallies attended by 50 thousand people across Croatia. He hosts the radio show Music Curriculum at Yammat FM station and writes a regular column for T-portal website.
