Ada is nineteen. A man she knew asked her out and she said yes. And then it happened, twice that week. Ada's testimony is the starting point of the film, but rape can happen to anyone – no matter the sex, age or race. Director Alexe Poukine compiles testimonies from numerous victims trying to find a way empathetic and gentle enough to speak about trauma.
Alexe Poukine is a Paris-born, Brussels-based director and scriptwriter. She studied anthropology, documentary and fiction screenwriting. Petites Morts (2008), her graduation film, was selected for several international festivals.
