Puberty

Elena Kondrateva

In this large family, everybody, both teenagers and adults, yearn for sex. Inna is in her 50s and recently divorced. She is a famous midwife and a specialist in natural childbirth, yet, despite all of her achievements, Inna feels unhappy. To help her mother cope with loneliness, all four of her children try to help her find a boyfriend. Thanks to their efforts, Inna finds a man who invites her on a trip. However, not all goes well: the incompetent office workers lose her visa documents and her daughters begin to criticise her choices in life. It turns out that even the most intelligent and family-oriented women can feel lonely and controlled. The film touches upon the theme of the modern woman’s balance between sexuality, children, social life and responsibilities.
