HBO Europe Award – a diploma and €2000 for project development 



One project will be awarded the HBO Europe diploma and €2000 for project development. HBO is acknowledged across the world as a leader in premium television programming services. Viewers everywhere turn to HBO for the biggest Hollywood blockbusters, award-winning original productions and series, exclusive events and documentaries which are moving the boundaries of society. HBO Europe develops and produces its own award-winning original series and documentaries. It provides premium channels and streaming service HBO GO in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

ZagrebDox Pro Online Mentor Award – a diploma and one-year online mentoring by Želimir Žilnik

Next to a diploma, the winner of ZagrebDox Pro Award wins a unique opportunity to develop their project with the assistance of mentor Želimir Žilnik, author of many fiction and documentary films, a winner of a series of awards at national and international festivals. He is one of the founders of the docu-drama genre and his films focus on contemporary issues, social, political and economic analyses of daily life. Next to ongoing work in film production, Žilnik is also active as a mentor and executive producer at many international film workshops and schools and as a visiting lecturer he collaborates with numerous film schools across the world (Goldsmiths College – University of London, Leiden University, Kunst Akademie Wien, Stanford University, Central European University Budapest, School of Arts and Communication - Malmö University, University College London).

ZagrebDox Pro DCP Award – diploma and DCP material

The best this year's ZagrebDox Pro project, by the decision of all the panellists, will be awarded a professional DCP format upon the making of their project/film. ZagrebDox Pro organisers dedicate special attention to the follow-up of project development after their participation in the workshop, and later their on-screen life. With this award they wish to support their cinema release.
