This is a warm-hearted comedy about a ten-year-old boy who wants to become the Pope. Our protagonist, a young alter boy, finds out about an audition for a musical and decides to audition for the part of John Paul II. He approaches the task as if it was a holy mission, but his parents do not take him seriously. What is he going to learn?

Justyna Mytnik

Justyna Mytnik is director and screenwriter born in 1988 in Poland. After studying Art History and English Literature at the University of Edinburgh, she is currently enrolled studying Direction at the Łódź Film School. Mytnik is author of the show Defunct Pig, staged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2015, she won an award for young artists for her direction of the stage play Tit Anik at Warsaw’s Teatr Rozmaitości.
