HBO Adria Award – a diploma and €2000 for project development 



One project will be awarded the HBO diploma and €2000 for project development. Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO) is acknowledged across the world as a leader in premium television programming services. Viewers everywhere turn to HBO for the biggest Hollywood blockbusters, award-winning original productions and series, exclusive events and films. HBO Europe develops and produces its own award-winning original documentaries and provides basic and premium channels to fifteen countries in the European region including Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Netherlands. HBO Adria continues to support project development at ZagrebDox Pro with a financial reward.

ZagrebDox Pro Online Mentor Award – a diploma and a diploma and one-year online mentoring by Hanka Kastelicová

Next to a diploma, the winner of ZagrebDox Pro Award wins a unique opportunity to develop their project with the assistance of mentor Hanka Kastelicová, the Executive Producer of Documentaries for HBO Europe responsible for the development and production of HBO Europe’s documentary films. Prior to this, she worked for more than 25 years as a documentary director and producer, and later as a commissioning editor and Head of Development of documentary programming in Slovenia. She has also been lecturing on documentary filmmaking and served as a moderator and participant on numerous industry panels and other documentary events.

ZagrebDox Pro DCP Award – a diploma and Digital Cinema Package upon the finalization of the project

The best this year's ZagrebDox Pro project, by the decision of all the panellists, will be awarded a professional DCP format upon the making of their project/film. ZagrebDox Pro organisers dedicate special attention to the follow-up of project development after their participation in the workshop, and later their on-screen life. With this award they wish to support their cinema release.
