A story about the beauty of the rejected and the strength of the weak opens the rich line-up of the 13th edition of ZagrebDox

On Sunday, 26 February, 8pm, at Kaptol Boutique Cinema, the 13th edition of ZagrebDox Festival opens with the Polish film Communion, an award winner at festivals in Leipzig, Locarno, Trieste and Bratislava. Director Anna Zamecka is joining us to welcome the audience in person. Through a story about the everyday life of a girl who, living in a dysfunctional family, was forced to grow up before her time, Communion unveils the beauty of the rejected, the strength of the weak and a need for change when this seems impossible.

The most significant documentary film festival in the region stretches across eight days and includes 15 programmes with over 120 documentaries from all over the world. Every day, the audience will have a chance to follow the exciting race for the festival awards, the Big Stamps, with 42 titles competing – 21 in International and 21 in Regional Competition.
