The gathered masses socialize, bargain, buy and sell, sing, and drink and eat in abundance.

On the 10th of every month one of the biggest cattle fairs in Croatia takes place in the town of Benkovac on the plain of Ravni Kotari. The fair owes its unique atmosphere to the population of various Dalmatian regions (the hinterlands of Šibenik and Split, the Zadar islands and coastline) but also to its diverse offer which includes livestock, tools, clothes, footwear, food, the elixirs of life and much more. The gathered masses socialize, bargain, buy and sell, sing, and drink and eat in abundance.
