Masters of Dox present 'Cathedrals of Culture', a documentary exploring the ‘souls’ of buildings.

28.01.2015.

In this interesting 3D homage to architecture, six renowned directors have relived six iconic buildings, including Centre Pompidou in Paris and Berlin Philharmonics.

If buildings could talk, what would they say? Six directors, including Robert Redford and Michael Glawogger, have chosen six famous buildings and tried to answer this question.

Cathedrals of Culture, as a conceptual six-piece omnibus, gives different, but equally interesting answers. And while camera explores their architectural uniqueness, this 3D film project about the ‘souls’ of buildings brings to life and gives a voice to world famous architecture: Berlin Philharmonics (Wim Wenders), Californian Salk Institute (Robert Redford), National Library of Russia in St. Petersburg (Michael Glawogger), Halden Prison in Norway (Michael Madsen), Oslo Opera House (Margreth Olin) and Centre Pompidou (Karim Aïnouz).
