All of Me

Susan Koenen
Screening time
26.02. / Tuesday, 16:00 - 18:00 Theatre 5
Diede and Emma share everything with each other. Everything? Well, almost everything because Diede has a secret: she's clairvoyant.

Seventeen-year-old Diede is able to see ghosts, but she will not tell anybody – not even her best friend Emma. Or should Diede actually tell her, even though it will put their friendship at stake? All of Me mixes documentary with feature film elements, representing Diede’s sensory world. It is a film about personal courage. Diede is going to have to open up if she wants mature friendship to grow.

Susan Koenen

Susan Koenen was born in 1974, in Netherlands. She has worked as a documentary filmmaker since the age of 25. In her work, Susan feels a strong urge to show nonfamous people who deserve to be famous. Most of her films are about personal courage: I Am a Girl! (2010), about a girl in a boy’s body, Laura & Anne 4 Ever (2008), about the strong bond between two friends, one of whom dies of leukaemia, All of Me (2012) about a clairvoyant girl or The Wild West (2010) about Piet, main character who created a very special lurking place for underprivileged children in a multicultural neighbourhood in West Amsterdam.
