'My Beirut' is a film about one man and four women and about what i sit like being crucified between worlds.

'My Beirut' is a film about one man and four women and about what i sit like being crucified between worlds. An actor comes to Beirut to play Hamlet in a stage production. However, he finds himself in the middle of a revolution that creates havoc. In the middle of that real madness, he faces four women that he loved and still loves. It is a combination of a road film and a romantic thriller.  
 

Boris Benjamin Bertram

Boris Benjamin Bertram, born 1971, started out as a radio journalist for the Danish Radio. He has worked as the editor of Copenhagen Homeless Radio. In 1999, Boris was part of the creative team behind Zentropa Real - Lars von Trier's documentary department, where he has directed several films and tv-series for Danish national broadcasting. He holds a master degree in communication/social psychology and graduated from The National Danish Film School as director in 2005. Is part of the CPH:DOX LAB 2009. Over the years he has collaborated closely with Danish director Jorgen Leth as assistant director. His film 'My Beirut' was selected for CPH:DOX and shown on Discovery Channel. 'Diplomacy - The Responsibility to Protect' (2007) received equally great attention. 'Tank City' (2009) appeared in the competition program Amnesty Award at CPH:DOX 2010.
