'The Art of Selling' chronicles the impact of fundamental changes taking place in a post-Communist society. These are changes that are forcing people to seek new means to help guide them through life. Mr. Peep Vain is a successful sales training instructor in Estonia. He got his start working in the US for six weeks in the summer as a door-to-door book salesman. His success is legendary. Mark is a young recruiter for the Southwestern Company, who will start recruiting students to go to the US in the summer of 2005. A middle-aged widow, who has tried her luck at network marketing but failed painfully, has lost her money and her self-esteem. Now she is trying again. She is attempting to overcome her depression and hardships by beginning a new life as a Tupperware sales representative.

Andres Maimik (1970) i Jaak Kilmi (1973) već dugo rade zajedno. Glavni predmet interesa njihovih dokumentarnih filmova specifični su fenomeni postkomunističkog društva. Proučavaju njihov utjecaj na ljudsku psihu, način na koji se ljudi prilagođavaju novim vrijednostima te promjene uloge spolova i moralnih standarda u društvu koje se mijenja.
